Affiliate Disclosure

StackHyre earns money from affiliate links and clearly labeled sponsored content. Here’s how both work, and what they never change.

Last updated: October 24, 2026

The short version: Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy a proxy plan or tool, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never change our rankings, and we recommend providers that don’t pay us when they are the better choice.

What Affiliate Links Are

An affiliate link is a link with a tracking code. If you click it and sign up or buy, the provider pays StackHyre a referral fee. You pay the same price you’d pay going to the provider directly. Sometimes a provider offers our readers a discount code. If so, we say it on the page.

Why We Use Them

Research takes time. Checking pricing pages, reading docs and terms, and keeping guides up to date as plans change all take hours. Affiliate commissions pay for that work and keep the site free to read.

Our Promise to You

  • Rankings are earned, not bought. A bigger commission never buys a better spot. Our method is in the Editorial Policy.
  • We include providers that don’t pay us when they are the right fit, and we link to them with plain links.
  • We share the downsides. Every review covers limits and who a provider is not right for.
  • We warn you off bad options, even when they run affiliate programs.

Sponsored Content Is Different

Some posts are paid for by a brand. These are labeled “Sponsored” near the top of the page, and their paid links use rel="sponsored". Sponsored posts are separate from our own reviews and rankings, and a sponsor can’t change them. Learn more on the Advertise page.

FTC and Other Rules

This disclosure follows the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255) and similar ad transparency rules in other countries. Where a page has affiliate links, we aim to make that clear.

Programs We May Join

StackHyre may join affiliate programs run directly by proxy providers, scraping API and data tool companies, and by affiliate networks. Which programs we’re in can change over time.
