These terms set the rules for using StackHyre. Please read them. By using the Site, you agree to them.
Last updated: October 24, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) cover your access to and use of this website (the “Site”), run by StackHyre (“StackHyre”, “we”, “us” or “our”). If you don’t agree with these Terms, please don’t use the Site.
1. Accepting These Terms
By using the Site, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may change these Terms at any time. If you keep using the Site after a change, you accept the new Terms.
2. Using the Site
You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to:
- Copy, republish or resell our content without permission
- Scrape the Site in a way that overloads it, or ignore our robots.txt rules
- Try to break into, disrupt or overload the Site
- Use the Site to spread malware or for fraud or other illegal activity
- Pretend to be StackHyre, Daniel Brooks or anyone linked to us
3. Responsible Use of Proxies and Scraping Tools
Our guides are for lawful uses such as testing, research, price and ad checks, SEO data and privacy. When you use proxies or collect web data, you must:
- Follow each website’s terms of service, robots.txt rules and rate limits
- Follow the laws where you live and where the data comes from, including privacy and data protection laws such as the GDPR and CCPA, computer misuse laws and copyright law
- Follow the provider’s own terms and acceptable use policy
- Not use proxies or scraping for fraud, account abuse, spam, ticket or sneaker scalping that breaks a seller’s rules, getting around paywalls or security, or collecting personal data unlawfully
Nothing on the Site is permission to break any website’s terms or any law. We don’t help with or encourage misuse, and we are not responsible for what you do with a product we cover.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos and design, belongs to StackHyre or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may quote short parts with clear credit and a link back to the original page. Any other use needs our written permission. Third party names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify their products.
5. Editorial Independence, Affiliate Links and Sponsored Content
Our reviews and rankings are editorially independent. The Site has affiliate links, and we may earn a commission when you buy through them at no extra cost to you. The Site also publishes clearly labeled sponsored content. Neither one changes our rankings. Please read our Affiliate Disclosure and Editorial Policy.
6. Guest and Sponsored Posts
Guest authors and sponsors are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what they submit. Views in guest and sponsored posts belong to their authors. We may edit, label, change link attributes on or remove any submitted content. See the Write for Us and Advertise pages.
7. Information Only
Content on the Site is general information. It is not legal, financial, technical or professional advice. Whether a use of proxies or scraping is allowed depends on your situation and the laws that apply to you, so get legal advice if you’re unsure. Proxy prices, plans and features change often. Always check current details with the provider before you buy.
8. No Warranties
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non infringement. We don’t promise the Site will always be available, error free or free of harmful parts.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, StackHyre and its editor will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages that come from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any third party product mentioned on it. This includes bans, blocked accounts, lost data or legal claims that result from how you use proxies or scraping tools. If you are unhappy with the Site, your only remedy is to stop using it.
10. Third Party Links and Products
The Site links to proxy providers, tools and services we don’t run or control. We are not responsible for their content, policies, pricing, IP sourcing or practices. Any deal you make with a third party is between you and that party.
11. Indemnification
You agree to protect and hold harmless StackHyre and its editor from any claims, losses or costs that come from your misuse of the Site, your use of proxies or scraping tools, or your breach of these Terms.
12. Ending Access
We may suspend or limit access to the Site at any time, without notice, if we believe you broke these Terms, or for any other reason at our discretion.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the applicable law of the place where StackHyre is operated, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts of that place. If any part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
