8 Best Oxylabs Alternatives in 2026: Flexible Proxy Providers Compared

8 Best Oxylabs Alternatives in 2026: Flexible Proxy Providers Compared

TL;DR: My picks for the best Oxylabs alternatives in 2026 are Bright Data for enterprise features with pay as you go, Decodo for value, and SOAX or NodeMaven for mobile and account work. IPRoyal, Webshare and Rayobyte cover tight budgets and bulk bandwidth. Residential rates on these vendors’ pages range from about $1.40/GB to $7/GB, as of October 2026. I compare 8 options on price, billing and fit.

Oxylabs is hard to beat on raw performance. It posted a 99.93% global residential success rate in Proxyway’s Proxy Market Research 2026, the best result in the test.

So why shop around? In most cases it’s the billing, not the network.

In October 2026, Oxylabs folded every product into one credit subscription. PricingSaaS tracked the change between October 5 and 12. Plans now start at $30 a month.

There’s still no pay as you go option. Proxyway’s Oxylabs review notes that plans expire at the end of each cycle. If your usage is uneven, you end up paying for traffic you never touch.

Some teams also want cheaper bulk bandwidth, an easier signup or a cleaner pool for account work.

I compared 8 providers that solve those problems. For the full market view, see my ranking of the best proxy providers. If per-GB versus per-IP billing is new to you, read my proxy pricing breakdown.

What Makes a Great Oxylabs Alternative?

A good Oxylabs alternative keeps most of the reliability and fixes whatever pushed you away. For most buyers that’s flexible billing, like pay as you go or traffic that doesn’t expire. Others need lower per-GB prices, faster onboarding or better IP reputation. I also want the provider to explain its IP sourcing clearly and publish real prices.

Oxylabs sets a high bar. Proxyway measured 3,241,404 unique global IPs from 3.6 million requests, the most in its 2026 test. Its residential response time averaged 0.60 s.

Very few vendors hit those numbers for less money. So be honest with yourself about the trade-off. You might accept slightly lower success rates for half the cost. Or you might pay about the same for better billing terms.

Here’s the minimum I’d want from any replacement:

  • Billing that matches your usage pattern. Monthly, pay as you go or non-expiring traffic.
  • Published success rates from an independent tester.
  • The proxy types you need, including mobile or ISP.
  • Ethical sourcing and a clear acceptable use policy.

Why Are Teams Looking for Oxylabs Alternatives in 2026?

The main trigger is the October 2026 switch to one credit subscription. Plans start at $30 a month, and residential costs $6/GB on Starter. Unused plan value doesn’t carry over, according to Proxyway. So teams with small or irregular projects now pay for capacity they may not use. Others want lower bulk rates than Oxylabs offers below its Enterprise tier.

Here’s what the Oxylabs pricing page shows, as of October 2026:

  • Welcome credits: $5 toward any product, free.
  • Starter: $30/mo. Residential $6/GB, mobile $7.5/GB.
  • Basic: $100/mo. Residential $5/GB.
  • Flexible: $500/mo. Residential $4/GB.
  • Enterprise: from $2,500/mo. Residential $2.5/GB.

Your plan level now sets your rate on every product. That’s great if you use several Oxylabs tools. It’s not so great if you only need one.

Proxyway’s review lists a few other gaps. There’s no two-factor authentication, no session management and no wallet feature. Some filters, like country plus ASN on mobile, can’t be combined.

The free credit has a catch too. Oxylabs calls it a “$5 welcome credit for verified company registrations” on its free trial page. If you’re an individual, you may not qualify.

Best Oxylabs Alternatives With Flexible Billing

These three let you skip a fixed monthly commitment, or at least soften it. Bright Data and Decodo offer pay as you go. IPRoyal sells traffic that never expires.

#1 Bright Data: Best for enterprise features with pay as you go

Bright Data is the closest enterprise rival to Oxylabs, and it still offers residential pay as you go.

What it does well. Bright Data has the deepest feature set on the market. Proxyway’s Bright Data review points to no concurrency limits, request caching, dedicated residential IPs and ZIP, ASN and OS targeting. Proxyway rates it 9.3 out of 10.

Key features:

  • Bright Data claims 400M+ monthly residential IPs in 195 countries.
  • Residential, ISP and datacenter proxy networks.
  • Unlocker API, SERP API, Browser API, scraper APIs and datasets.
  • Free country, state, city, ZIP and ASN targeting on residential.

Pricing. The Bright Data residential pricing page shows $4/GB pay as you go with a 50% promo code, struck through from $8/GB, as of October 2026. Monthly plans start at $499 for 141 GB. The main pricing page lists ISP from $1.3/IP and datacenter from $0.9/IP.

Best for: Registered businesses that need advanced targeting and can pass KYC.

Limitations. Since July 7, 2026, new residential zones need human-reviewed KYC, per the Bright Data access policy. Personal email accounts can’t sign up. Proxyway also reports that Bright Data dropped mobile proxies in April 2026. My Bright Data vs Oxylabs guide puts the two side by side.

#2 Decodo: Best value for most teams

Decodo, formerly Smartproxy, gets you close to Oxylabs performance at mid-market prices. It’s the one I’d point most teams to first.

What it does well. Decodo scored a 99.92% global residential success rate in Proxyway’s 2026 research. That’s just 0.01 points behind Oxylabs. Its 0.53 s global response time was the fastest in the report.

Key features:

  • Residential, mobile, static residential and datacenter proxies.
  • Web Data API and Site Unblocker.
  • Decodo claims 115M+ ethically sourced IPs in 195+ locations.
  • Wallet-based pay as you go at $4/GB.

Pricing. The Decodo pricing page lists residential plans from 3 GB for $11.25 ($3.75/GB) to 100 GB at $2.75/GB, as of October 2026. Enterprise plans reach $2.00/GB at 1,000 GB. Mobile starts from $2.25/GB.

Best for: Teams that want premium success rates with a lower entry point than Oxylabs.

Limitations. Pay as you go is wallet-only and sold one GB at a time. You can’t hold a monthly plan and pay as you go at the same time. My Decodo review has the full picture.

Visit Decodo

#3 IPRoyal: Best for uneven or seasonal usage

IPRoyal’s residential traffic stays on your account until you use it. That fixes the biggest billing pain with Oxylabs.

What it does well. The IPRoyal pricing page promises “never expiring traffic” and no monthly minimum. Proxyway’s 2026 risk test also found its pool the cleanest, with 16.70% of residential IPs flagged.

Key features:

  • Pay as you go or subscriptions at 5% off.
  • IPRoyal claims 64M+ residential IPs in 195+ countries.
  • ISP, datacenter and mobile proxies on the same account.
  • Small 1 GB entry tier for testing.

Pricing. Residential costs $7.00/GB for 1 GB and $5.25/GB at 10 GB on subscription, as of October 2026. Custom plans from 10 TB fall to $1.75/GB.

Best for: Freelancers, agencies and seasonal projects.

Limitations. Proxyway measured a 96.11% global success rate in 2026, down 3.45 points from 2025. Its 1.24 s response time is about twice what Oxylabs gets.

Best Oxylabs Alternatives for Mobile and Account Work

Oxylabs sells mobile proxies, so mobile alone isn’t a reason to leave. These two providers win on targeting style or IP reputation instead.

#4 SOAX: Best for mobile and city-level targeting

SOAX runs residential and mobile networks, and its prices change by target country.

What it does well. SOAX had the best US residential success rate in Proxyway’s 2026 benchmark, at 99.92%. Proxyway lists its advertised mobile pool at 33M IPs.

Key features:

  • Residential and mobile access on every plan.
  • Three geo price tiers, so cheaper countries cost less per GB.
  • Free Sandbox account with top-up credits.
  • Proxy packages and team seats scale with plan level.

Pricing. The SOAX pricing page lists Builder at $200/mo, Team at $500/mo and Scale at $1,500/mo, as of October 2026. Builder rates are $3.00/GB in Tier 1 countries and $1.20/GB in Tier 3. Credits expire after 60 days.

Best for: Ad verification, local SERP checks and app testing in specific regions.

Limitations. SOAX no longer lists ISP or datacenter proxies. There’s no free trial. Its global response time was 0.89 s in Proxyway’s test, slower than Oxylabs.

Visit SOAX

#5 NodeMaven: Best for social and multi-account work

NodeMaven is built around IP reputation. When you run real accounts, that matters more than pool size.

What it does well. NodeMaven says it screens every residential and mobile IP in real time using fraud scores and blacklist data. It claims a 95%+ clean IP rate on its pricing page. Those figures are the vendor’s own.

Key features:

  • Residential, mobile and static ISP proxies.
  • Unused bandwidth carries forward to the next month.
  • NodeMaven claims 30M+ residential and 250K mobile IPs.
  • Cashback on used traffic, up to 10% per the vendor.

Pricing. Residential and mobile start at about $2.20/GB, but only on NodeMaven’s largest monthly plans. The entry plan is $8.50 for 2 GB. A $3.50 paid trial gets you 750 MB. ISP proxies cost about $2.33 per IP for 30 days, as of October 2026.

Best for: Social media teams and antidetect browser users who need isolated, reputable IPs.

Limitations. No free trial or free plan. NodeMaven wasn’t in Proxyway’s 2026 benchmark, so independent performance data is thin. And always follow each platform’s terms when you run multiple accounts.

Best Budget, Bulk and API Oxylabs Alternatives

If Oxylabs costs too much at your volume, these three cut the bill in different ways. For more low-cost options, see my list of cheap residential proxies.

#6 Webshare: Best for cheap datacenter proxies

Webshare has the lowest entry point of anyone here. You can start on a free plan.

What it does well. The Webshare pricing page offers 10 free shared proxies with 1 GB monthly bandwidth and no card required. Its residential network still scored a 99.28% global success rate in Proxyway’s 2026 research.

Key features:

  • Free plan with HTTP and SOCKS5 support.
  • Datacenter, rotating residential and static residential proxies.
  • Volume discounts up to 40% on datacenter plans.
  • Advertised 80M residential pool, per Proxyway.

Pricing. 100 datacenter proxies cost $2.99/mo, as of October 2026. Rotating residential runs $3.50/GB on 1 GB and $1.40/GB at 3,000 GB. Static residential starts at $6/mo for 20 proxies.

Best for: Developers, students and low-risk scraping targets.

Limitations. No mobile proxies. Targeting is basic next to Oxylabs.

Visit Webshare

#7 Rayobyte: Best for bulk bandwidth

Rayobyte relaunched its pricing in early October 2026 around very cheap high-volume plans.

What it does well. Its Scale Residential plans start at $0.015/GB and fall to $0.0095/GB, per Proxyway’s October 6, 2026 report. Proxyway said these were “significantly cheaper than anything we’ve seen on the market.”

Key features:

  • Scale and Premium residential tiers.
  • Rotating ISP, rotating datacenter, mobile and static IPs.
  • Scraping API and Web Unblocker.
  • Free trial on self-serve products, no card required.

Pricing. The Rayobyte pricing page lists Scale Residential from $100/mo for 6,600 GB, as of October 2026. Premium Residential pay as you go runs $3.50/GB for 1 to 49 GB, down to $0.70/GB at 1,000 GB or more.

Best for: AI training data, broad crawls and any job where cost per GB matters more than precision.

Limitations. Scale has no location filtering, no pay as you go and one concurrent connection per dollar, per Proxyway. Premium residential averaged 1.86 s per request in 2026 tests, much slower than Oxylabs.

Visit Rayobyte

#8 Zyte: Best replacement for Oxylabs Web Scraper API

Zyte is a managed scraping API. It replaces the Oxylabs API products, not its proxies.

What it does well. Zyte API takes care of rotation, rendering and bans for you. You pay per request, at a rate set by how hard the site is to scrape.

Key features:

  • Five price tiers, from Simple to Advanced sites.
  • HTTP or browser-rendered responses.
  • Residential, datacenter and mobile rotation built in.
  • No extra overage fee on subscriptions.

Pricing. The Zyte pricing page offers $5 in free credit for 30 days. Pay as you go HTTP requests start at $0.13 per 1,000 on simple sites, as of October 2026. For comparison, Oxylabs lists its /Scrape endpoint from $0.50 per 1,000 results.

Best for: Data teams that want structured output, not proxy lists.

Limitations. Zyte isn’t a general proxy for browsers or account tools. Browser rendering on advanced sites costs up to $16.08 per 1,000 requests on pay as you go.

How to choose oxylabs alternatives: buyer checklist

How Should You Choose the Right Oxylabs Alternative?

Pick based on why Oxylabs doesn’t fit you. If billing is the issue, go with pay as you go (Bright Data, Decodo) or non-expiring traffic (IPRoyal). If price is the issue, compare rates at your real monthly volume. If you run accounts, put IP reputation first. Then test your top two picks on your own targets for a week.

These are the questions I’d ask:

  1. How steady is your monthly traffic? Steady usage suits monthly plans. Spiky usage suits pay as you go or traffic that never expires.
  2. Which proxy types do you need? SOAX lacks ISP and datacenter. Webshare lacks mobile. Bright Data lacks mobile.
  3. How precise must targeting be? City and ZIP targeting cost more. Bulk crawling rarely needs them.
  4. Can you pass business KYC? Bright Data residential and Oxylabs’ free credit both expect a company.
  5. Is the sourcing clean? Ask how residential IPs are obtained. Avoid vendors that cannot answer.

One vendor I’d rule out: NetNut. KrebsOnSecurity reported on July 2, 2026 that the FBI seized NetNut’s domains. Researchers had linked it to the Popa botnet of at least two million infected devices.

My guide to choosing a proxy provider has a full vetting checklist. For any project, treat local law and each site’s terms as your baseline.

How we evaluated oxylabs alternatives: methodology and criteria

How I Evaluated These Oxylabs Alternatives

I went through published pricing, product docs, access policies and independent benchmarks. I didn’t run my own performance tests. Every price comes from the vendor’s own pricing page, checked in October 2026. Success rates and response times come from Proxyway’s 2026 market research and reviews.

I judged each provider on five criteria:

  • Billing flexibility: Pay as you go, rollover or expiry rules.
  • Price at real volumes: Rates at 5 GB, 100 GB and 1 TB where published.
  • Independent performance: Third-party success and response data.
  • Product range: Residential, mobile, ISP, datacenter and APIs.
  • Trust signals: Sourcing statements, KYC, abuse policy and account security.

Pool sizes and clean-IP rates are vendor claims unless I cite an independent test. You can see how I work in my editorial policy.

The Bottom Line

Oxylabs is still one of the strongest proxy networks you can buy. But its new single subscription has no pay as you go, and unused plan value doesn’t roll over.

If you need enterprise features with flexible billing, I’d go with Bright Data. If you want near-identical success rates for less, choose Decodo. If your usage comes in bursts, IPRoyal’s non-expiring traffic is the safest bet.

For mobile and city targeting, look at SOAX. For account work, NodeMaven’s filtered IPs fit well. Webshare and Rayobyte cover tiny and huge budgets. Zyte replaces the scraping API.

Start with a small plan or trial and test it on your real targets. Then see how each option ranks in my best proxy providers guide, or check my Bright Data alternatives if you’re weighing both premium vendors.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best alternative to Oxylabs?

For most teams, I’d pick Decodo. It scored a 99.92% global residential success rate in Proxyway’s 2026 benchmark, almost level with Oxylabs’ 99.93%. Its residential plans start at $3.75/GB for 3 GB, as of October 2026. Bright Data is the better pick if you need enterprise features with pay as you go.

How much does Oxylabs cost in 2026?

Oxylabs plans cost $30, $100 or $500 per month, with Enterprise from $2,500, as of October 2026. One subscription covers all products. Residential costs $6/GB on Starter and $2.5/GB on Enterprise. New accounts get $5 in welcome credits. Check the Oxylabs pricing page for current rates.

Does Oxylabs have pay as you go?

No. Oxylabs sells monthly plans only under its single subscription model. Proxyway’s review notes that plans expire at the end of each billing cycle. If you want pay as you go, Bright Data, Decodo and IPRoyal offer it. IPRoyal’s residential traffic also never expires.

Is Oxylabs better than Bright Data?

Oxylabs led Proxyway’s 2026 residential benchmark with a 99.93% success rate, and it still sells mobile proxies. Bright Data has more targeting options and pay as you go, but requires KYC for residential access. Neither one wins for every team. Your billing needs and targets decide it.

Which Oxylabs alternative is cheapest?

Webshare has the lowest entry point, with a free plan and 100 datacenter proxies for $2.99 a month. For residential bulk traffic, Rayobyte’s Scale plans start at $0.015/GB with a $100 monthly minimum. Scale has no location filtering, so it suits broad crawling, not targeted work.
